Bill Knowles has served as Elder at Saginaw Church of Christ since 2001. Before that he served as the deacon in several roles over the years. He has been at SCOC since he was 11 years old. Bill married his wife Kaye in 1977. He has five grown children, and 16 grandchildren. Bill recently retired from Anchor Fabrication as a senior auditor in the quality department. Along the way, he also owned and operated a service station and a golf shop. Bill was baptized on Mother’s Day in 1958 at the end of a gospel meeting. He has always enjoyed speaking in public, so it was easy for him take on a leadership role in the church. His Sunday morning classes are always informative and rooted in the word of God. Bill loves to spend his free time on the golf course, or out in his workshop making different things for Kaye and the kids and grandkids.
Chuck has served as Elder since 2016 at Saginaw Church of Christ. Before that he served as the Deacon of Worship. Chuck met his wife Bethany at his Dad's company picnic in 1986. They were married in June 1987, and have two grown sons. Chuck is a Captain at the DFW Airport Department of Public Safety and has been there since 1988. He holds several certifications, including Advanced Firefighter, Advanced ARFF, Instructor III and Fire Officer II. He has traveled to China, Bermuda, St Lucia and New York City to train firefighters. He was also on the DFW Swat Team for 5 years. Chuck and Bethany spend their free time traveling, hiking, hunting, horseback riding, and spending time at their cabin in New Mexico. Chuck says “I have felt called to serve the church at Saginaw most of my life. It is my home, my family, and privilege to serve as an Elder.”
Brian Hart has served as Elder at Saginaw Church of Christ since 2016. Before that he served as a deacon from 2013. Brian met his wife Lori when he tried to date Lori’s sister and she didn’t want to. Brian and Lori married in 1992. They have 3 daughters. Coach Brian was a teacher and coach for 26 years. For the last 12 years he’s been a financial adviser for Inspire Financial Group. He always knew that someday he would take on a leadership role in the church. Brian is an avid sports fan. He loves watching the Rangers, Cowboys, Stars and Maverick. He also loves to play golf and has completed two marathons. He is a supporter of Refuge for Women – North Texas. Refuge for Women is a non-profit, faith based organization providing specialized long-term care for women who have escaped human trafficking or sexual exploitation.
Jeffrey began serving as Elder in August 2020. Before that, he served as the Deacon of Education at Saginaw Church of Christ since 2002. Jeffrey grew up in Grapevine and earned his MBA from Abilene Christian University. He moved from Grapevine to Haltom City in 1999. He met his wife, Stacey, a co-worker at Fitz and Floyd in 1999. Their son graduated high school in 2019 and has always been active with the Saginaw church. Jeffrey owns his own businesses, Peace Life Coaching and BEST Homeschool Classes where he specializes in teaching math classes and working with challenged and autistic children. For relaxation, he enjoys reading, gardening and landscaping, and sitting outside and watching the world happen. He is tired of chain restaurants and always welcomes suggestions for really unique and good places to eat. He appreciates it even more when someone pays for it. Jeffrey has always enjoyed performing and presenting in front of audiences. In addition to directing the children drama teams at SCOC, he often preaches, entertains and hosts various events, and writes promotions, skits, and marketing material.
